When The Sun Came Out

Wow. Life has been all sorts of strange lately. I’m going on Week 3 of working from home. Henry’s home. Sam’s home. We can’t see our friends and families, and everything feels FUNKY. On top of that, the weather has been gloomy and rainy, which has been making me miss California in crazy ways. I know we made the right decision moving back, but some days I do wish I could drive the PCH with my little fam and feel the sun and sand. I guess I’m just feeling isolated in many ways. Boxed in. Limited.

But I remind myself that Spring is here and the sun will shine soon.

Like today. Today there was sun. So I worked all day looking out at it and found a slice of time to walk to the park, play in the grass and escape the quarantine with my family.

It did my mind and body good.
