What I'm Wicked Into: You'd Be Silly Not To Make This Edible Cookie Dough

Heyhey! You know what's real good... and something that'll transport you right back to childhood with one single bite?Edible. Cookie. Dough. You heard me!You're thinking, wait, isn't all cookie dough edible? Sure it is. We all put our hands into the cookie dough mix as kids and gobbled it right up, but it certainly wasn't the best thing to do with raw egg inside.I followed this eggless recipe a couple weeks ago (before I decided to go vegan for a week) from Today's website for a small get-together with friends and it turned out finger-lickin' good.If you've been craving something sweet/want to allow yourself a "cheat meal," this might be the one! Here's what you'll need:3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted1¼ cups brown sugar, loosely packed1/4 cup granulated sugar1/4 cup milk (feel free to substitute soy milk, almond milk, rice milk or coconut milk)1 tablespoon vanilla extract2 cups + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (you can substitute all-purpose gluten-free flour, if desired)1/2 teaspoon sea salt1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips (mini, regular or chunks depending on your chocolate addiction)Let's go! (Follow along with me here.)P.S. You don't need a mixer to make this, but it sure makes life a whole lot easier...1. Toss together flour and salt in a bowl. Set aside.20170812_150720_resized2. In a large bowl, whisk the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar together until completely smooth - no brown sugar lumps should remain.20170812_151502_resized3. Whisk in the milk until combined, then add vanilla. Stir until completely mixed.20170812_151748_resizedREAD: How To Make Edible Cookie Dough20170812_151853_resized4. Slowly add in flour mixture and stir with a rubber spatula until smooth.20170812_15212120170812_152129_resized20170812_152417_resized5.
