Goooood morning! How are you doing today?Hope you all had a great weekend and fully enjoyed your time. Before we talk positivity and mantras, here's a quick look back at how I spent my weekend.FRIDAY Sam and I went on a walk after work. The weather was so nice and refreshing (70ish) so we walked about a mile or so around our apartment. We've been trying to go on more walks lately just to talk and get some fresh air, and night walks have been really awesome for our schedules. We did a little shopping together after our walk, and then came home for dinner and a movie. For dinner, we just made a big board of cheeses, crackers, olives, pickles, and salami. That's our kind of dinner!I had heard about the new Netflix movie, The Meyerwitz, so we watched that and really liked it. It's a dark comedy so the humor was just right for us. Haha!SATURDAY we eased into the morning with coffee in bed, breakfast, and TV.We had a bunch of errands to get done, so most of the day was spent getting ish done. After our errands, we walked Echo Lake Park for a bit.20171014_11425720171014_12013620171014_120125Do you like my fanny pack? ;) Hey, it's convenient.20171014_113912At night, we made dinner reservations at Elf in Echo Park. (Remember the first time we went when I was on my vegan diet?)Well, we couldn't wait to go back.20171014_202909.jpgOnce again, the food, service, and ambiance was perfection.SUNDAY was also really chill. I cleaned, blogged, and just lazied around a bit.Oh, and I took a chill yoga class!img_20171015_160520_957.jpgIn the afternoon, I decided I wanted to whip up a fall meal, so I made butternut squash soup.I love all-things fall, so it was really nice to smell the flavors in the apartment as I baked/cooked. I can't wait to eat this all week. It's always nice to have a make-ahead meal ready to go.[gallery ids="9990,9987" type="rectangular"]I'll be posting the full recipe in my Wednesday "What I'm Wicked Into" post, so stay tuned if you'd like to make it yourself. Super easy.MEET ME ON THE MAT: Don't Dance Around The Perimeter Of Who You're Here To BeHere's what's inspiring this week's mantra: Gabby's post.Screen Shot 2017-10-14 at 8.39.07 AMI love this mantra so much. It's extremely powerful if you just take a moment to envision it.We tend to sometimes dance outside the realm of our possibilities and our biggest desires. What if we jumped in and danced in the center? What if we're SO close to who we're here to be but we just haven't discovered it yet? Wow.I'm ready to jump on in. How bout you?Let's just give it a go.See what happens. And, enjoy the experience.I'm looking forward to a positive, fun, and motivating week. Let's get it!That's it for now,Ari
